The interface is built for quick lookups, careful browsing and reusable data. Every total and chart is calculated from the same directory, and downloads stay in sync with the website.

All postal data on this site is sourced from the official directory published by India Post, Department of Posts, Government of India, available at data.gov.in.

The data is published under the Government Open Data License India (GODL), which permits free use, reuse, and redistribution provided that:

• The provider (India Post) is acknowledged.
• The source (data.gov.in) is acknowledged.
• The license name is included.
• No endorsement by the provider is implied.
